Just went out for lunch (yes, it's a beautiful day!) and it struck me funny that my black and red mats seem to always be my passengers these days! Maybe I should start seatbelting them in! :)
I've been active my whole life. Starting with gymnastics for about 10 years. After that ended I spent alot of time in the gym: Aerobics, Step, Treadmill,Weights...Pretty much lived in the gym! Started running which I love. I might not always like tying up the running shoes and hitting the road after a long day at work, but I love the feeling after. My sister had been trying to get me to try Bikram yoga for about a year. I kept making excuses. In actuality the thought of 105 degree heat plus humidity while taking a 90 min classes scared the heck out of me! Are these people nuts!? But the more I thought about the fact that I run in 95 degree humid weather, I thought I can do this Bikram thing. So I joined her for a class. Was I nervous? YES! Did I love it and was I hooked after that first class? YES! Bikram is amazing. I like running and Bikram equal but each is unique in what you get out of them. I tend to be on the small size and I love the new muscles Bikram has given me. I love the feeling of calmness after a class. Bikram makes me happy and I'm so glad I broke down and took that first class.
Those are some cool lookin' passengers!
